Garin Tzabar

Garin Tzabar is a unique program that provides comprehensive services to young Jewish adults (ages 18-24) who make Aliyah and serve in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) as Lone Soldiers. Upon their arrival in Israel, Garin Tzabar participants are adopted by an Israeli community that becomes their home away from home before and throughout their military service. 400 participants join the program per year.

Gap year- Shnat Sherut

Every year, the Tzofim movement in Israel sends about 450 high school alumni to participate in a year of community service. There are numerous tracks that accommodate different participants' needs, and each track has its own set of visions and goals. Every track embarks on educational missions relevant to the community the participants serve. Participants live and volunteer in an Israeli environment that requires Hebrew fluency

ELI Gap-Year Program

The Exploration Leadership and Innovation (ELI) Gap-Year Program is a unique, college-preparatory experience based in Israel, run in collaboration with Tel Aviv University and Tzofim Tzabar Olami. The program is designed for high school graduates seeking to enhance their academic, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills before beginning their college education. Participants engage in a rich blend of academic courses, leadership training, and extracurricular activities, all within an immersive environment that emphasizes Jewish culture and the dynamic innovation landscape of the Startup Nation. The program offers both full-year and semester options, with classes conducted in English, and includes opportunities for cultural trips, volunteering, and interaction with local communities​
